When I hear about “less is more” I don’t think about minimalistic abstract photographs, but instead the name of Harry Callahan came to my mind, especially since I saw the show of some his photographs at the Boston MFA last year.
well…NOT this Harry Callahan:
… though less is more could as well apply to his routine.
But the American photographer, born 1912 and died 1999 who was famous for the photographs he did of his wife Eleanor, sometimes together with their daughter Barbara.
And Harry Callahan was a true master at less is more
